Latest news from European Commission
On 9 July 2021, the European Commission announced that the publication of the Regulatory Technical Standards (RTS) for requirements under the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) has been postponed by 6 months. These RTS contain rules for pre-contractual, periodic and website publications about sustainability for asset managers, pension funds, banks and insurers, among others. This postponement means that financial institutions will have more time for the implementation of the SFDR and Taxonomy Regulation.
The SFDR webinar of July 8, 2021 is based on information prior to the announcement by the European Commission on July 9, 2021.
